Shêraze Mathlouthi

Independent villa management in Saint-Barthélemy, year-round.

Present year-round on the island, through low and hurricane seasons. One direct number for villa emergencies, day or night.

Independent Villa Manager

I'm Shêraze, an independent villa manager based in Saint-Barthélemy. If you own a villa in St. Barth and live in New York, Miami, Paris, or London, I'm the single local contact you deal with, not another agency layer. I visit your property on a regular schedule, coordinate the housekeeping and maintenance teams, work directly with your rental agency, and send you clear, honest updates with photos. I don't work alone: I run a small structure with a team and trusted contractors on the ground, so your villa is never left without eyes on it, even if I'm on another site. Full transparency on what happens at your villa, all year. On WhatsApp, I generally reply within 1 to 2 hours during the day, and I'm happy to meet, walk your villa, and answer questions with no commitment.

I

About

I moved to Saint-Barthélemy several years ago and never left. I speak French, English, and Spanish. I manage villas across the island, from Pointe Milou to Colombier to Toiny, for owners based in New York, Miami, Paris, London. I'm here through low season and hurricane season, exactly when most of the island leaves and your villa needs eyes on the ground. I supervise renovation work, close villas before storms, and reopen them when you're ready. I'm built for volume and actively growing my portfolio. If you're considering a villa manager or just want advice from someone who knows the island inside out, I'm happy to meet, walk your property, and share what I've learned. No commitment, no sales pitch.

Frequently asked questions

What does a villa manager in St. Barth actually do?

Everything your villa needs when you're not here. I visit the property regularly, coordinate cleaning and turnovers, manage pool, garden, and AC maintenance, welcome guests personally at the villa, work with your rental agency's concierge team, and handle emergencies around the clock. Read the full guide.

Do you work with my rental agency?

Yes. I work directly with WIMCO, Sibarth, Eden Rock Villa Rental, Le Barth Villa Rental, and My Villa In St Barth, and I integrate with any agency on the island. Direct line to the agency managers, their concierges, and the butler teams. Calendars, turnovers, and villa status coordinated without a switchboard. See how rentals work.

Are you reachable at night and on weekends?

Yes, 24/7 for real villa emergencies (leak at 2am, hurricane warning, guest locked out, extended power outage): one direct number, I pick up. For non-urgent messages during the day, I generally reply on WhatsApp within 1 to 2 hours.

Are you on the island during hurricane season?

Yes. Low season and hurricane season are exactly when I'm most needed. Most seasonal staff and managers leave between June and November. I'm here for those months: supervising renovation work, securing villas before storms (shutters, outdoor furniture, pool equipment), inspecting after, and closing or reopening villas as you need. See the full checklist.

How can you manage my villa when I live thousands of miles away?

That's exactly what I'm built for. You give me the keys and one WhatsApp number is enough. I check on your villa on a regular schedule, send you photo updates when something needs your attention, and handle every request on the ground: cleaning, maintenance, contractors, agency coordination. One local contact, direct decisions, full transparency on what happens at your property. No switchboard, no intermediaries. Learn why year-round presence matters.

Which neighborhoods of St. Barth do you cover?

Every neighborhood on the island: Pointe Milou, Lurin, Gustavia, Saint-Jean, Colombier, Toiny, Anse des Cayes, Camaruche, Petit Cul-de-Sac, Vitet, Marigot, Flamands.

Can I meet you before committing?

Of course. I'm on the island year-round, so we can meet at your villa or over a coffee whenever you're here. No commitment required. Many owners reach out just for advice on how villa management works on the island, and that's fine too.

What happens if you're sick or off the island?

I don't work alone. I run a small structure with a team on the ground and trusted contractors I've vetted over years on the island. If I'm ever unreachable for a moment, someone I trust can be at your villa fast. You still have one main contact (me), but you never rely on a single point of failure.

Prefer to talk in person?

I'm on Saint-Barthélemy year-round. If you're on the island or planning a trip, let's meet for a coffee or a walk through your villa. No slides, no sales pitch, no commitment. Something no off-island agency can offer.
